The AreaRetail Trainer supports the M

  • C Vision and drives sales through the development, knowledge and skills of our Retail fieldLeaders and Retail Artists, acrossmultiple channels through in-store education, classroom-based education andvideo learning. This involves elevating the customer service, artistry, productknowledge skills, social media and sales skills of Retail Managers and Retail Artistsby facilitating all Art and Commerce Education Fundamentals.

  • Development of field teams: feed thecommercial, artistry, product knowledge and customer service skills of the fieldteams, giving them the tools to support the in-store business through Art andCommerce following up in key focus doors

  • In-Store Support & Education:

  • Observe and educate store teams' andprovide frequent feedback on job performance to the Sales and Education fieldleaders. Address Identified development opportunitiesand create relevant training initiatives to cultivate talent and producehigh-performing teams that exceed sales objectives. Ensure training initiativesare effectively translated into behaviors that support excellence in service,artistry and product knowledge.

  • Video Learning Content Create locallyrelevant artistry, service and product knowledge-focused tutorial videos fore-learning site in collaboration with the Make Up Artistry/PR and Consumermarketing teams

  • Play active role in refining and evolvingthe Education and business strategy for the region

  • Align with the Sales leaders, leveraging feedbackfrom the field on the effectiveness of education initiatives

  • Gather training needs analysis, staffperformance/mystery shop results, and general sales and education business gaps

  • Attending select monthly counter meetings infocus doors with partner, and participating by presenting ideas, discussingdepartmental developments, coaching and supporting others.

  • Attending regularly scheduled strategymeetings to discuss Education and business strategies, competitive landscape,evolving customer needs, review progress on regional priorities, identify challengesand define action plans with Sales partner, which support the needs of thebusiness.

  • Executing training solutions to regionalchallenges including weak sell-through results, challenges with productcategories, service challenges, etc.

  • Collaborate with Sales partner to supportthe business appropriately and drive the Retail Manager’s coaching and leadershipskills.

  • Feed the field leaders with tools needed toeffectively empower the Retail Managers to drive their teams and business tosuccess

  • Supporting the recruitment and selection ofM

  • C Artists in collaboration with field leaders where necessary

  • Supporting succession planning programs forM

  • C Managers and Artists by recommending and creating development opportunities

  • Education: Specialist education in Makeup Artistry or Equivalent experience from the makeup industry. Higher education preferred.

  • Job-Related Skills: Proven exceptional ability in makeup application and customer service skills

  • Strong communication skill including public speaking, facilitation and content creation.

  • Strong ability to analyze retail environment needs and provide actionable training solution.

  • Must be versatile and have the ability to adapt approach to all levels of the business from top management to retail artists

  • Organizational skills including planning of larger events, budgets and retail KPI analyses.

  • 2 years’ experience as an (M

  • A

  • C) Artist and/or within an education department.

  • 1-year experience in an educational and/or leadership function.

  • Experience as a Product Specialist and event team member.

  • Experience with training and coaching field teams

  • Proven ability to provide guidance, instruction on product knowledge , artistry, customer service,commercial and leadership skills

  • Demonstrate ability to develop creative, challenging informative and fun ways to deliver educational information on Art and commerce
