FEDERIC MALLE - KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Together with the International Director, develop and set up a global Sales strategy to reach objectives in terms of turnover growth and profitability, on a short, middle and long term perspective, on both integrated and non-integrated markets.

ON NON-INTEGRATED MARKETS

-Develop sales and profitability vs. Budget, manage operating accounts for non-integrated markets

-Manage the P&L within assigned geographic territory

-Develop strong professional relationships with key accounts (clientelling), be their privileged business partner (annual negotiations of margin, space, stores visibility, market share, animation plans, category management projects...)

-Become a key actor and facilitator in the Business between the different departments: Marketing (ex: animations policies), Management (ex: prices, P&L), Logistics (ex: MAD products), Customer Service (ex: orders), Design (ex: projects in stores) and Training

-Ensure brand development as well as their market share and image, using a designed 360 approach to market

-Follow up on New Door openings process, as per Plan

-Develop the online market share and business contribution of the brand through a strong presence on etailers

-Ensure regular and relevant reporting

-Ensure a physical presence on the field close to the teams (internal and retailers). Travel representing about 50% of the time.

ON INTEGRATED MARKETS

-Work hand in hand with International Director and local markets to prepare integration strategy and execution. Ensure smooth induction of local team, Implement Global Brand processes.

-Follow up on New Door openings process, as per Plan

-Ensure smooth communication process flow is put in place between Region & Global team members

-Work on ad hoc Business Development project alongside International Lead.

-P&L monitoring (pursues Net sales turnover and profit optimization)

-Retail sales driver (direct sales contribution) & mindset (ability to create and implement retail actions on field)

-Proactively being the “expert” of his markets, consumers & competitors

-Builds and negotiate annual trade plan

-Negotiates with retailers (commercial terms and business operations)

-Adapts brand distribution strategy, planning and monitoring doors openings.

-Forecasts business with accuracy

-Sets priorities and acts in autonomy in his area

-Manages intermediate agent relationships

-Collects and connects comprehensive knowledge about the retailer/perfumeries

-Collaborates across functions

-Qualitative follows-up & controls

-Generous and efficient Leadership / strong management and interpersonal skills

-Strong sales expertise and strong trade/marketing experience

-Bilingual in English and French.
