Chef de Projet Marketing Développement CDD
Position Overview :
Work closely with Manager to support key global marketing initiatives with a major focus on Chinaaffiliate strategy and market execution. Lead select global marketing projects in line with brand strategy and objectives.
Manage all project timeline and deliverables, from the concept to final delivery,embracing both big picture objectives and follow through on details. Develop strong working relationships with global partners, (including regions and affiliates) and internal groups (including GBSC, GSR, Packaging, Digital, Merchandising, Education, Finance, Creative and Global Communications) enabling two-way constructive feedback, smooth workflow and progression of the Brand.
Areas of Responsibilities include:
China affiliate strategy and marketing calendar
Serve as brand connection between global marketing and China affiliate
Develop unique and compelling communication for new launch and repromote, as well as for ecommerce promotions, understanding key drivers behind Chinese consumers
Create storytelling around key franchises and hero products. Partner closely with R&D to develop new claims that resonate with the Chinese consumer
Lead the global production of assets and communication for the China calendar and promotions, including creating copy and creative briefs, and working with internal departments and external agencies
Connect with regional lead to analyze data related to business, Chinese trends, consumer insights, social listening, pricing, etc….
Create agenda for weekly meeting and drive discussions including calendar planning, analyzing program effectiveness and gathering needs (assets, products, tools, communication formats, etc…)
Act as key point person for all timelines, calendars, pricing and lineup
Marketing Initiatives and project management
Lead SKU rationalization annually, developing analysis and recommendations to optimize lineup
Assist in preparation of materials/analysis for marketing presentations (ie. Innovation, Brand Strategy, Trunk Show, Regional Roundtable etc...)
Handle planogram updates according to new launches and strategy. Partner with IMD to find creative solutions
Own meeting setup and recaps for key weekly meetings under responsibility, ensuring all relevant documents and products are prepared for meetings and taking notes to create recaps of discussions and next steps
Manage timelines and key deliverables ensuring all projects adhere to deadlines and costs
Responsible for all day-to-day project tasks such as budget management, legal approvals, and proactive communicating and gathering of information from key internal departments.
Work on miscellaneous projects
Lead by example to create an environment that is encouraging, respectful and builds global team cooperation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
University Degree or equivalent in Marketing or Business preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Marketing
Experience with the Chinese / APAC market is a plus
Should demonstrate a passion for the cosmetics business
Possess oral and written communication, analytical, creative and excellent computer skills (excel, ppt)
Must demonstrate ownership of programs, embracing both big picture objectives and follow through on details.
Must be accountable and organized with the ability handle a multitude of projects in a fast-paced environment.
Must be flexible, determined and an excellent team player.
Must possess the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional and affiliate teams.
Must be able to speak and write in English and French
