Product & Trade Manager

Your tasks;

  • Drive the marketing plan into a detailed animation and promotional plan by Retailer, including product launches and special events and presents to retailers

  • Plan and monitors budget for promotional and Trade material and Follow up of trade budgets (coop)

  • Brief and monitors execution of all trade activities (timing, quality, cost) with retailers

  • Keeps aware of Retailer expectations and opportunities

  • Drives innovation and continuous improvement on Trade Marketing for the brand

  • Measures performance of Trade Marketing actions and strives for spend optimization

  • Works closely with the KAM and E-KAM, CAM’s to benefit from latest best practices, in particular on Connectivity and Digital capability integration

  • Manage a product portfolio (two brands will be assigned to your scope) per retailer & door type

  • Build launch plans, adapting global plan to local plan and presents them to salesforce

  • Monitor product related visual assets and master data

  • Event Management

  • Price setting according to regional and global policies

  • Build volume forecasts per SKU, including all promotional items.

  • Reconciliation between forecast and demand planning.

  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to monitor stocks

  • Monthly report and follow up of gross sales (with Demand planning & Finance)

  • Monthly report and follow up on retail sales (per retailer, per door, per key category, …)

  • Daily contact with EMEA including all EMEA reporting

  • Responsible for all Visual Merchandising implementation & monitoring

  • Full responsibility for new launch merchandising such as brand planograms in collaboration with International, visual updates, module and shelf navigation updates including forecast

  • Management of Merchandising & Capex budget and responsible for keeping costs within allocated budget. Check monthly expenditures and explain variances vs budget.

  • Full responsibility for new door installations and refurbishments from elaboration to installation in accordance with global brand guidelines with all stakeholders (International, retailers, shopfitters, salesforce, …)

  • Entrepreneur & initiative taker with an operational mindset

  • Excellent written and spoken communications in Dutch, English and French

  • 3 to 5 years marketing experience in a consumer driven environment; preferably, this experience has been acquired in the cosmetics & beauty products and/or the luxury industry.

  • Analytical, autonomous team-player, excellent communication & presentation skills.

  • Result oriented, passion for product, hands-on approach, pragmatic & flexible, driven challenge seeker

  • Enthusiastic, Ambitious, assertive, go-getter with an eye for details

  • Demonstrate flexibility and agility
