Product Manager Bobbi Brown

The Product Manageris responsible for the general management of Bobbi Brown brand in the Benelux. He/she participates to the elaboration of the marketing plans, in accordance with the global marketing strategy.He/she is in charge of the execution of the marketing plan in cooperation with the brand manager.

The Product Manager Ensures the coordination between all parties (both internal and external) in order to optimize the implementation of the marketing mix regarding: the synergy, timing and efficiency of all elements of the marketing mix.

Launch Management

Forecasting limited & continuous life products in line with LRP & acceleration plan. Prepare and develop product launch plans and present the program to Salesforce and key clients. Determine quantities per stakeholder in order to reach plan and follow up on stock to maximise sales. Pricing of new products in line with budget and initiate pricing process. Activate codes in close collaboration with Customer Service and prepare launches in SAP (Event Management). Safeguard and evaluate brand portfolio on regular base ( -600 SKU’s) for 8 different stakeholders.

Opening new doors

Responsible for coordination of opening new doors: discuss store design with Regional Office in Paris and clients, CAPEX requests, time management, trade marketing and communication with internal and external stakeholders, forecasting of merchandising units, determining the final line up per distribution channel, upload of non-saleable into SAP and sometimes merchandise together with sales team to ensure a smooth installation process.

Process of opening doors is in close collaboration with Sales Manager and Brand Manager.

Trade Marketing

Build, implements & manages the Trade Marketing Calendar together with Sales Manager & Brand Manager.

Animate new launches and points of sales through marketing and promotional activities together with Brand Coordinator.

Oversee all communication tools and collateral: mailings, e-mailings, merchandising, windows & events.

Retail Management

Responsible for launching and ordering new product launches in Winparf within respected time frames in order to reach OCD. Lead Store Ops in close contact with external parties to ensure basic business in store.

Lead and safeguard Bobbi Brown PRO program in line with financial & global guidelines, as well as managing the applications.

Sales Planning & Analysis

Proactively conducts regular business assessments on any marketing initiatives and recommends corrective actions to drive sales and profitability.

Analysis: MOB, best sellers, tester usage, FSS KPI’s (Shoppertrack & Winparf, Market & Consumer trends, follow-up on Competition


Implements & follows-up merchandising guidelines in all doors. 6 month review of SKU portfolio ( - 600 SKU’s) to ensure alignment between furniture and line up retailer. Update visuals, lightboxes & windows in line with marketing plan. 6 monthly update of pricing communication in all doors in collaboration with Brand Coordinator.

PR and communication

Briefs and manages the NL PR agency

Manages BE PR

Manages digital activities with digital departments (internal & external)

Coordinates communication strategy with clients marketing or PR teams

Safeguard PR budget with close eye on COG of basic & new launches.

Budget Management

Manages budget and follow up. Monitors expenditures by activity in line with budget.

Defines the budget and keep costs within allocated budget.

Tracks monthly expenditures and explains variances vs budget. Preparation of SIOP.


Managing 3 Facebookpages, initiate activities on social media and lead digital campaigns in collaboration with the Social Media Coordinator & Online coordinator.

The candidate holds a university degree and must have at least 4-5 years of marketing experience.

Preferably, this experience has been acquired in the cosmetics & beauty products. Knowledge of the selective perfumeries market a plus.
